I guess you can say its a christmas present for myself. went to gander mtn and dicks sporting goods tonight just looking around. they didnt have any in my price range and that really didnt dissapoint me cause i didnt need to spend the money. our last stop was walmart and while the wife was getting a few things i told her i was going to look at the guns. they ended up having a savage mark 93 17 with synthetic stock and blued barrel for $184. i couldnt resist and went ahead and bought it. i got the scope rings on and will put the scope on tomorrow. will post pics once the scope is on.
 
couldnt be to picky cause walmart only had 2 brands to choose from and they were 17gr bullets. went with the federal. have to go back to paducah one day this week anyways so im going to gander mtn and look at there selection of bullets.
 
There isn't much varity in the ammo for them same bullets in different brands and all loaded by the same company or so I have been told.

I have hunted yotes with my .17 for 2 years and love it. I can shoot yotes with them and it does the job real well. But I would reallyy like to have a 22 250 though
