I don't think I will get a rabbit this year

I have come close but not connected on a rabbit. Using both the air rifle and the shotgun. Well today I was squirrel hunting with Nimrod and we went into some cedars to try and kick rabbits out of the thick stuff. it turned into more of a post season deer scout/shed hunt than anything. :D Found a new area to deer hunt, it definitely needs more scouting done. I got lazy and quit trying to find rabbits, I think it's just time to be shed hunting now. Not to mention I need to save up quick for a new license so I can go fishing after feb. 28.

Atleast you found a new spot. And that "save up" thing is important for me too...I love March fishing...I always catch the best/most fish in March.

Sorry about that Cat. There's always next year. I never had much luck with rifle (air or rimfire). Usually my rabbit encounters involve them running like a bat outta hell so i have to bust 'em with the 12 ga. This year I hunted twice...killed 4 with dogs in West TN and 5 without dogs in North MS.
