Who has bought one and is it worth it?

I have one but haven't used it yet. Everybody I know who has one either loves it or hates it. I fish with a guy who fishes the Bassmaster Elite trail and he cuts it on first thing. Does it work? I don't know. I bought mine for $100 from a guy who said he saw no difference with it. He is a striper fisherman who trolls a lot. I don't think if it works it'll help when trolling.
