I'm hunting this river bottom in semi-south TX for opening of rifle tomorrow, basically everything in the pic west side of river. It's supposed to rise 20' over the next couple of days. This is my first year hunting this property, so I don't quite know what a flood of this magnitude means as far as hoe much of the place will be under water.
My plan is hunting north of the dropped pin, as that's probably the highest ground. Does anyone have any experience on how these deer will evacuate or react to the rising water?
