Hey, if there is anyone on here that could take me hog hunting. I live in middle Tennessee and hasn't had any luck acquiring any property I could hunt hogs on. Please, drop me a line. Thanks guys!!!!

Chad, I'm from Nashville. I hunt Kentucky and tennessee etc. I would like to get exposed to hog hunting and learn all that I can learn. I would like to keep in toyuch with you. Perhaps you could help disclose some areas to hog hunt. I work as a deputy in nashille and I don't know if I could hunt then.

Big Chad, that is aight!!!! Hey man, how is the hunting around your side. here and in west ky we are seeing a very visible rut. My buddy just killed a nice shooter buck on monday afternoon at 430. We have some nice farms up there. I have a farm to hunt in Cadiz, down from knight and hale place. Anyway. I'm Napoleon (father, hunter, competitive 3d archer, and deputy sheriff). I love to hunt. Listen, dude. Keep in touch big dog.

Buck small world. I hunted Mann Mountain yesterday morning. Myself and 2 buddies drove down from Chattanooga - it took us about an hour and 45 mins. What a nice bunch of folks. Wesley Mann and his dad and brother run a nice little deal there. I shot a 165ib sow, my buddies each got a sow as well. A 240lb and a 250lb. I used a 30/30, one used a .45 pistol and the other a .243. All were good. The .243 may have been a little under powered but that pig is now at the processor so thats how that story ends. We got in the woods about 8am ct, they fed us lunch, cleaned the hogs and we were on the road by 2pm. We plan on going back in the spring to try our hand at bow and muzzleloaders. Give them a call at 256-878-6559 and you will have a blast.

thats where ill be if my shoulder is up to it can u hunt down their in the spring with a muzzleloader their when i went it was me and my buddy and this other guy guiding his buddy and we used bows man u talk about fun

For boar hogs that have not been cut, I recomend deboning meat and soaking in cooler with cut up and squeezed fruit. Let ice melt down and mix with fruit hulls and juice. Let soak for acouple of days. I also like to add agallon of apple juice or cider.

I have been blessed to have killed a few boars in south cherokee the past few years.
I alway skin and quarter them myself then take them to a local prosessor. He makes the best sausage!!! If it is a boar I always have him grind the whole thing (minus the tender loin) and make hot sausage out of it. I must say I have never had a hog that was strong or smelled by doing this (grinding sausage). If you decide to grind your own and know how to make sausage, well do it just like you would a domestic hog. Well prepared sausage will melt in your mouth and you will never know that it was a wild hog.
** note** If you do kill a hog, get it in the cooler fast because they will spoil a lot quicker than a deer.

I FOUND THE BEST WAY IS TO QUARTER THEM AND ICE THEM DOWN DRAIN THE WATER FROM THE COOLER AND KEEP ADDING ICE FOR 2 TO 3 DAYS THIS WORKS FOR MOST GAME.

The distribution map in the hunting and fishing guide shows hogs in southern meigs county. Has anyone on here seen any signs of them hogs.

All this talk of hog hunting sounds like fun. I have always wanted to go hog huntin, but woundn't have the first clue on where to start. If someone out there is putting something together, and needs a tag along, I'm in, as long as I can get off work.
