I still use Mucks, and was wearing them years ago when they weren't known as a hunting boot. I don't use them like a rabbit hunter would use his leather boots, so they last a long time for me.

Right now I'm using the Dryshod High Haymaker, which is pretty much the same boot.

My old mucks were great and lasted several years. We bought my wife some; the sole came off with less than 10 uses. She is not hard on boots either.
 
Life boots for 45°+ and mucks for everything under that. The key is the right sock for warmth and comfort though
 
I'm on my 3rd regluing of the soles back onto my mucks.

I've only had to rescue my lacrosse soles back on twice.

You would think as much as they charge for these rubber boots they would last more than 3 seasons, but nope, not at least any I've tried.

Im right there with you! Im hard on footwear. I walk far distances scouting hunting and hauling gear in and out and sometimes deer.

I can beat the crap out of any hunting boot in 2-3 seasons. I've heard about gumleaf and the true rubber boots that cost $250-300 and how much longer they last but man I haven't bitten that bullet yet.

I normally do not hunt in slip ons. I wear dans five star hip boots. They last 5 seasons with me before they get squishy. While other hunters are tip toeing around puddles trying not to get swamped, I roll right through most stuff. These also turn briars and have a tough nylon shell which keeps them from getting damaged like the neoprene mucks. When I wear knee boots briars always grab my thigh then hang up on the top of my knee boots and catch. It stops my momentum and causes a lot more tripping.

On that, I also fall and then crawl at some points. Going up and down ditch banks It's nice to be able to slide, drop onto your knees and know they are still waterproof.

I can't stand rubber boots. They suck in my opinion. I get cold feet easily followed by my core. Heavy wool socks and Kennetreks I last longer on stand as long as I have good core insulation. Rocky boots were good for the price point back In the day. Lacrosse outlast mucks 2 to 1 input opinion as we use them for farm work. I've pretty much gone back to a worn out leather boot for the feedlot. 3 pair of Mucks to one pair of Ariats with a heavy silicone spray.
