I watched the entire thing through binocs from the other side of the lake. It took a while to figure out why I could see one of the guys from the waist up but he never moved. I know the area very well where he got stuck. You have to be careful as there are several sink holes in addition to the quicksand-like mud.

And I think the estimate of 2 dozen ducks was generous. ;-)
