I'm NRA certified and help with the Boy Scouts shooting sports and would like to get into helping with the Hunter Education classes. I've already got an application on the way. What does it take to get certified?
 
There is some instructor training involved prior to certification. Get in touch with your regional coordinator so he can fill you in on the requirements and the tiem for the next instructor training.

yep, I will be teaching the education portion and supplying teaching resources at it- good lord willing!!! and ken and randy don't fire me, lol
 
I too would be interested in helping instruct the hunters safety course. Is this class open to anyone or is there prerequisites? I am very familiar with the codes academy. I spent my fair share of time there. Bring your own mattress HINT
