Anybody been in the stand in Hump Co since Sunday? Curious to hear your rut update. Saturday AM was active with small bucks running does who weren't receptive at all. The 3.5 yr old bucks I saw weren't very interested and where alone.

Hoping this weekend we see a spike in activity from the matures!
 
My brother lives in Waverly and his son killed a 6-pt this morning just after daybreak. He was with a doe but she was following behind him and they were just feeding across a field. Said he had a little stink to him on his tarsal glands but not much.

Older bucks were cruising pretty hard Sunday and Monday, but action slowed down Tuesday. Trail cams show bucks working scrapes hard, even in daylight (as of Monday).
