Hummingbird PihranaMax 170 reads depth, but no temp?

I've had a piranhamax 170 for about 6 years, and up until today had no problems with it at all. It reads depth great, but the temp reads 99°. Checked connections, and everything was fine....very strange. Anyone have any ideas?

Mine just started doing the same thing only the transducer cable got cut so I soldered it all back together, everything worked fine then the next time I used it the temp read 99, surely someone has a fix!

Man I sure hope so!!! It reads depth great, and it flashed the correct temp a couple times....almost makes me wonder if it needs to be calibrated somehow....???? :?:
