Have tried many different settings & can't get a decent pic yet. Depth readings randomly change as well, may change from 6' to 492' to 38' .

This is only used up front for DI & had planned on adding 360, but about ready to chunk it... Garmins for mapping & everything else. Only reason I added it was that I bought a Minn Kota trolling motor.

Below is pic I get regardless of depth. Never is it "full screen" where I can see details or zoom in.

I only crappie & bream fish & never over 20' deep.

Does it do this in sim mode too? Have you tried factory reset? Does it do this at trolling speed or high speed?

gain is too high for that depth and youre getting a double return.

does not do in sim mode, only use it in trolling speed. xducers are over 4' apart on transom. helix is a few inches higher to not interfere with Garmin side scan

fishing in 13' water right now, turned it down & looks pretty dang good. will watch as get in shallower, thanks.

pic display depth is in line with Garmins, digital readout is all over the place
