Understand this is political but it will directly affect your ability to use a training retriever while waterfowl hunting. Typical politics, activists have inserted a section in this bill (HR-5107, Farm Bill) to allegedly ban Greyhound racing (probably not a bad thing) but it only serves as cover to ban the killing and use of birds & ducks that are essential to training hunting dogs or training if dogs to be used in field trials and hunt tests. This would directly kill field dog events and result in poorly trained dogs used in hunting. Just another step to attempt to ban hunting altogether.
Contact your congressmen & tell them to remove this awful section that will kill the ability to train hunting dogs.
