I'm glad this was mentioned cause my friend's dad died of a pulmonary embolism while on stand. I try to stand at least once an hour and do calf raises.
Most of the hard chasing in our area and breeding occurs late second week and third week of Nov. Most all bucks our club kills first week Mzloading are by themselves.TRIGGER":1mm2q536 said:Matador":1mm2q536 said:Probably not. Don't want to wear myself out before the rut. That's when to do it.
If your speaking of the rut as in the chase phase you better be in the stand all day for the next week and a half. If you speak of the rut as when they actually breed I don't see many deer on their feet during that time.
