Get about 3 or 4 manuals and read them. There are some instructional video's as well. You can also have someone show you step by step how to do things and take notes.

1- get a DVD or VHS tape on it RCBS is a good one but there are others.

2- The loading manuals for the bullets you plan to use as they have the Hows toos in them.

3- IMO the best bet is one of the Reloading Starter Kits check out he different companys and compare what you will be getting.Lymans are the only ones I know of that comes with a Case Trimmer and you will at some point need one.( but one dosent have to go that more below )

4- If handguns are in the mix and you will be shooting them alot a Progressive such as Dillion RL500 shouldn't be overlooked, otherwise a good single stage press like the RCBS Rock Chucker,Lyman's Crusher or similar will do just fine.

The more from # 3 above What you will need to get started IMO if you don't won't to go with a kit.

Press

Dies- Full Lenght sets for rifle,Carbide sets for pistols

Shell Holder- for the Caliber they will often fit more than one caliber exsame one fits 243-308 30/06 and others.

Powder scale- personally prefer digtal

Powder measures- I say measures as I use the Lee Dippers alot more than I do a pre set to powder charge drop measure like the RCBS Uniflow.Esp when working up loads I also use in place of Powder Tickler to get those last few grains for the right weight. But either will get you started.

Powder Tickler- see above nice to have and needed from time to time .

Note you can get a Scale/measure and tickler all in one unit such as the RCBS Charge Master or Lymans DPS Powder System

Dial Calipers - need to check for case length and other measurements

Case Lube- for resizeing cases

Case Trimmer- you will need one at some point to trimm cases back to proper lenght.

Deburring tool- Inside and outside of the case neccks need deburring after trimming as new ones do before loading for the frist time.

All the above of your choice. ;)

The Bullets,Primers and Powder Then you need All the Reloading Data you can get your hands on Start with the brand bullets you will using and the Powder Companys aand many of these can be found on line.

Good Luck.
