I was given a goose breast. Could I hear some ideas on how to cook? Ive been told these must be soaked for a good period of time for them to be decent. Never attempted something such as this but I would like to try it.

if it were me i would soak overnight in sprite and soy sauce.wrap in bacon and grill(a little on the rare side)works for duck

If you cook it more than medium, it will taste like liver and be tough. Bacon, sour cream, and brown sugar glaze all helps in hiding that great taste that wild goose is known for.

Specklebellies are the best, imo...but whatever it is, a tried and true recipe is to butterfly the breast, stuff w cream cheese/jalepenos, wrap in bacon, grill slow until bacon is done. Eat...
