Wow! 4.5. I was thinking 3.5, but yes the depth in the chest and the neck. I can't wait for the season so I can hunt him. This is my first time using trail cams and I thoroughly enjoy seeing the photos I get. Hopefully I get another one of him before I pull the cams in mid-Sept and hope he stays in my area.

Just remember NOT to look at the neck in summer. Bucks have little testosterone in their system during summer, hence their necks are very thin and "doe-like." The neck only becomes a critical age criterion within a month of peak breeding. Within that time-frame, it can be one of the better age criterion.

Here's an example of how much a buck's neck can change from summer to fall: the first picture is in late August, while the second and third pictures were taken right near peak breeding:
