I think that buck is very old (7+) and on the decline. I have a pic of a buck over a scrape last year with only 100" head gear but he was ancient looking. When they get real old they lose weight and muscle. I could tell that he had seen better days. It is sad to see one on his way out, but also nice to know that some live until they die of old age.
