how old could it be?

got pictures last week of this buck in southern KY that made it through KY rifle season I also have a picture from 2006 of a 2.5 year old with strikingly similar antler characteristics to this one...could this buck possibly be 6.5 years old?

hes a mature deer but looks 4.5 to me. but im definately not the best at aging.

He looks to be in too good shape to be that old - I'd guess 4.5 also. He could very well have the same mama as the buck from your 2006 picture.

Looks to be 4.5 tops, but probably only 3.5

I'm not good at aging deer so I'm just gonna say cool pic and nice buck

Anything is possible. But in one location, it amazes me how often I will see a particular anlter pattern repeated over the years. This is most likely due to the bucks having the same mother, or their mothers are very closely related.

Could be 6.5 but for me gets hard to judge age after 4.5. he is a mature one

Only looking at the nose I don't think it's 6.5. Older deer 6.5 plus usually get whats called a Roman nose. This one looks to be 4.5 or so to me. Could be completely wrong as some animals like people show age and some don't.
