How many of y'all pretreat their dryer? I always wash a load of towels before my hunting cloths in no sent detergent.

Not I. I dry mine with a scent free dryer sheet and then hang them outside the night before I go hunting, to further air out.

I used to do the same but got tired of putting wet cloths on from the heavy dews in the morning.

I always hang mine under a porch or something overhead, and I rarely, if ever, put on damp clothes.

I keep my clothes washed in the scent free stuff (smells like dirt) and use the dryer sheets. When they come out of the dryer they go straight to the back screened porch. I keep all my gear (backpack, safety harness, boots, etc.) including clothes outside there all season. That way they smell more like outside and less like my truck or garage. I keep my outer layer of camo in a giant zip lock type bag, and I don't put them on until I get out of the truck at my hunting land.

THe only way I have figured out to be scent free is to hang all of my clothes outside under a covered shed. They never come into my house. I get dressed under the shed. This has been better than any detergent I have ever used. I also only wash my tight under armour under layer that is directly touching my skin. Spray down before entering the field. Also put may bibs and jacket and boots and all outer layers in the back of the truck to "air out" on the way to the lease. Last 2 years, amazing results.

Yep I do this. I wash and dry towels in scent free with a Dead Down Wind dryer sheet and follow up with a load of camo. I save the towels and use them to dry off after my scent free shower.

Same here. I don't wash my outer hunting clothes that often either. I wash the stuff next to my skin (socks, hat, etc.) every time, but my outer layer only comes inside to wash if I think I made them stink somehow. Otherwise, they stay outside.

Wash with free and clear. Dry without any dryer sheets. Hunt the wind as much as possible

I put my hunting clothes outside to dry. I don't wash stuff real often anyway, and I don't like taking a chance on my stuff shrinking.
