From Oct - Jan I do, but I'm typically glad it's over come January 1. I'm 110% ate up with turkey Mar. 15 - May 15 every year, probably more so than deer.

I'm a fanatic but not a "whitetail fanatic". I love to deer hunt but I also love to hunt other critters as well. I've been fishing the last two weekends but starting next weekend, I'll be deer hunting till January. After that, it'll be coyotes, crows, trapping and more fishing.

I hunt lots of other species but without question I am thinking about whitetail 365...come January I start my scouting for the next season that takes me through February. March brings shed season. Then it's off too work food plots and mineral licks and begin trail cam inventory that goes all through the summer months. Then it's off hanging tree stands. In the mean time I'm constantly looking for new properties to access. I have definately been called fanatical about deer hunting

Trail cams in the summer, trail cams and hunting from Sept.-January, post season cams/scouting January-February, and then shed hunting from late February-May.

Nah.. whitetail deer are irrelevant to me

Yup, even in the off season the guys I work with get tired of me talking whitetails and hunting, lol - they are looking forward to when I go on vacation here in a few weeks, they'll have a month of peace and quiet.

I used to be but not even close anymore. I think about fishing probably twice as much as deer these days

24/7/365. Between hunting them and planting 25+ food plots then shed hunting I'm driving my wife crazy

I keep tabs on deer year round but am only fanatic from late August through early January. Then am a turkey nut once the green starts showing up, then I kick back for the summer and go fishing

I used to be. I still love to deer hunt and spend all season in the woods but the club I've been in for the last 9 years isn't conducive to interaction during the off season. From squirrel season to the end of the year you can spend as much time in the woods as you want. The rest of the year you can't step foot on the property. Lack of being able to scout in the off season, plant any type of food plots, or run cameras any time other than during the season has taken some of the wind out of my sails.

Crazy about deer hunting 24/7/365, particularly mature bucks. Crazy about bass fishing from April until deer season. 2-3 night tournaments a week plus 2-3 nights of practice lol. Don't care about turkey or small game anymore.

I used to be as well but Life happens and with 2 boys and all their Sports and Hobbies things change. I wouldn't change a thing however, LOVE it!

I did have a phase where from Sept to Jan I was. But that was just a phase. Now with two boys and a smoking hot wife, 9 years younger than me, I have diversified. Especially working 5 days a week from 6-6, my battery charger has gone from hunting/fishing to family. My oldest does go hunting with whenever I go and I can't wait to take the other one as well. I'm looking more forward to this weekends juvenile hunt more than when the rut starts up.

I don't spend nearly as much time at it as I use to. As pointed out family and work sometimes priorities your life.

I've hunted every weekend this archery season except this weekend and hunted hard. I feel certain I won't miss any weekend of MZ and plan on taking off a couple of days during the week. The rest of the season I will hunt hard till rut is over then sorta pick and choose.

As far as your club is concerned it was little, rules like that and more that got me off a lease and into my own property. Now I have the freedom to do what the heck I want and how I want when I want.,

Hardcore. I will hunt everyday daylight till dark starting Thursday thru November 30th in multiple states. With that said turkey hunting is my true passion and what I live and breathe. That's really the only reason I'm on this forum. Don't deer hunt Tenn [emoji2]
