Have driven 9 hours for a weekend hunt? I am considering it this October. Leave Friday after work, drive to OH, drive back Sunday evening. Mostly a scouting trip for my week long hunt in November. But figure I will have a muzzleloader on me just in case a monster walks out. Who has done and what are your thoughts on it?
 
Theres no guideline on hunting time versus drive time. If it is what you want to do, do it. If you dont, dont.

If you spent $3,000, to make $1,000 profit its perfectly fine if your content with it. Its personal content!

I would go though!
 
I did it a good bit while in college and would do it again. If you want it, go for it. I would go if it were me, but that's just me.
 
I have been driving 4 hours almost every weekend once bow season starts, I hope to find something a bit closer in TN.
 
All I needed was a little push. Thanks guys. I am only going to do it to be more prepared for my archery hunt that is going to be in early November. But if I see a mature buck I might have to change the trip to Kentucky!
