I put out a two cameras on a property that's 670 acres I got permission to hunt on. I have scouted it heavily and found 6 really old ladder stands that the owner and two other old men use to hunt. Two people hunt only gun and the owner only hunts the opening week or two of bow, so I will have a lot of space to roam. How long would you leave the cameras out until you check them and if you didn't get good deer on cam, would you move them? I put out scrape generator and buck jam to help keep them in the camera range too.

I typically leave my cameras out 3-4 weeks before checking them this time of year. As the it gets closer to the rut and the deer become more active, I may check them as often as every 2 weeks, depending on the situation and circumstances. Best of luck with your new place this fall.
