Food Plots How late can I spray

Last year was my first year doing food plots. I used the spray, throw, and mow method. I have not sprayed yet this year and was going to spray this week. The hurricane and rain have prevented that so far. What is the latest I can spray? How long do you think glyphosate needs to dry before a rain? I also spray a little Crossbow on some stuff. Will be broadcasting wheat, crimson clover, and rye grain.

Plenty of time. If we are planted by mid to late September, I'll be happy. I planted last year in late August as would be gone most September elk hunting. We got 5" of rain first half August & only . 25" in September. I got to do it all over again first of October when rain started again. Happens regular in Mid TN. Roll of the dice each year!

By time Gly is dry on leaves, it is pretty much rain fast. No more than hour needed max.

Agreed on no more than an hour for it to penetrate and be effective. Now, if we had several of inches of rain (a straight up washout) right after that hour, I may be shaking my head a little.

Still plenty of time to spray. I am going to try and spray Sunday if the weather will allow me - but again still plenty of time

Thanks for the advice. I have intended to spray several times the last couple of weeks and wvery day I have decided to the wind has blown a little or forecast has shown a chance of rain. I was getting a little concerned.
