Let's hear it on how the duckblind work is going.My crew and I are all but done on our blind,just a little more brush and then the long wait til it opens.
 
You need more brush. :D

No blind this year so no brush for me. :(

I do have a pile of decoys to paint and a goose floater project I need to do.
Oh and the surface drive project is still bogged down.

Crap I am behind.
 
Headed to MO this weekend to cut down rice stubble to brush the pit.
Got to work on Roof on another Pit. Would really like to build some kind of blind for my boat too.
I Haven't been in a hurry to do to much since it's been so hot, but now that the weather seems to be breaking I'll be in full force.
I do have all my decoys rigged up and ready to go.

One last thing..... I rented a camper spot in Mo this season to cut down on the long drives and motel rooms. Now I just have to find a camper, been watching craigslist for fema trailers but no luck just yet
 
Going in the morn. to work on a blind. Trim some limbs around it and take some drone pictures to see if it is starting to look good.
 
We have our draw blind about 75% finished. Walls are up, just gotta get roof on, shooting step built, kitchen area finished, and then wrap in wire and brush. Hopefully will only take a couple more trips. Blind seems awful big to me, 8x28 with an 8x8 cook area and bathroom behind it.Boat port should handle a boat way bigger than anything any of us have access to.


Our floater is still in a heap outside the shop, haven't even started on it. Not certain it will get built this year, but it could fool me. I still got a ton of deer hunting to get done before duck season.
