2) Upload photos to there
3) Once uploaded, click on the "Share link" in the upper right corner of picture
4) Copy the BBCode for forums
5) Paste here

Click on the picture in imgur (website) that you want to share, then use the Direct Link or BBcode button to post the image here. With the direct link, you will have to add the tags on the ends, or have the full editor do it for you by highlighting the pasted link and select the link in the editor. If you use the share icon in the imgur app, it gives you a link like the one you posted (no jpg, png etc on the end).

Thanks for your help but I'm not getting anything like that. I have 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen that has a few options with the only viable one being "copy permalink." Share button at bottom of phone brings up my options of sending it via text, facebook, etc.

What platform are you using? If phone or tablet, use the Desktop Site instead of the mobile version, they leave a lot of the useful stuff out trying to save bandwidth (mute point now-a-days).

There are a few different ways to do it, but I like using dropbox. For me it's easier to organize pictures by different files there. If you create an account, you can make different folders and subfolders like you would on your computer then upload the pics you want to share. Click on the "share" link and it will create a URL link. Then click on the "Img" button above to give you this:

Between those brackets you will post the dropbox link. By default it will end in "dl=0"

Replace "dl=0" with "raw=1"

Then click submit and it should show the picture in the forum.
