Looking in thickets for deer movement. I try to stay focus and alert at all times. A deer can and slip past you

If I'm not looking around at all my surroundings or sleeping, I'm often on Tndeer. Even when I fall alseep, the sound of a deer or even squirrel wakes me up.

I may be crazy but I never ever get bored in the tree , really hate to see the time to get down come . I can't stay as long as I used to because of my back but I've never had a problem with passing the time hunting .I sometimes get a tension headache from the constant concentration of my surroundings though and after that sets in I can't stay very long .

Beings i don't have a smart phone i very rarely get on the net while i'm hunting. I usually just do lots of thinking and looking around and occasionally take a short nap.

I listen for what I can't see!. Hunting around the city limits, you hear more than a siren. One time I heard a couple arguing, democrats being loud in their yard talking to their brothers. It gets pretty comical at times cause we club members text each other making jokes about what we hear around the city limits trying to pass time.

Don't have a smart phone, i'm almost deaf in one ear, so I'm pretty much hunting the entire time.

I have a couple of friends that hunt nearby and we text each other a lot. :) Where I hunt most of the time, there is so much noise either from the interstate or the neighborhoods it is hard to hear. I'm also hearing impaired so I have to have my head on a swivel most of the time. I do wear hearing aids, but sometimes they just enhance the background noise.

My friend Craig and I hunt hogs together in SC. He can't see worth very well and I can't hear! :D We are a pretty good team in the stand. :)

(For all of you guys that wear hearing aids, sometimes you can get them "tuned" to limit certain sounds. For example the rattling of leaves will drive me insane if I don't have that sound limited in the fall. My wife and daughters tell me that I've had them "tuned" not to hear them! :D )
