I'd say it's a good bit bigger than 14", that Frabil checker should be 12" and it's not even fitting in there. I'd bet 16" easy. Here's a pic of a 15" Crappie I caught the other day, the part that makes it interesting is that I was flipping a Bass jig at the time, lol.

I would say near 16 also, sad thing is it never was accurately measured or weighed. Thats a nice crappie, probably didnt put up much of a fight on a bass rig.

You'd be surprised, I thought I had a big hawg for a few seconds and then she finally rolled over. I was fishing a private pond in Louisiana with a lot of 4-6 lb bass in it and I honestly thought it was one of those at first!
