Got this Houston Co. 6 pointer off our property on the second day of rifle season. Came in down wind of me headed for a scrape line down one of my 2 tracks. Weighed 170 lbs before gutting. Remington.308 put him down quickly. Saw a lot of bigger bucks during muzzle season, but never was able to connect. Took a few does also and looks like the season is a wrap. Blessed to be a gatherer!

We have a lot of trespassers on the 500 acres I hunt
Had some guy drive his red truck through the woods
Had a camera stolen with the cable lock

I haven't seen any poached deer yet

Last year had 2 shot and horns cut off
Not even the decency to take the back strap
And they were small 1.5 year old bucks
Pretty sure it is locals
 
Awesome 6 pt. What part of Houston county you hunting?. Ive hunted right on the dickson/houston line for 20 years. Didn't go this year since i bought some property last year and tagged out by opening of rifle. Always killed my biggest bucks the week of Thanksgiving in houston county. 3 of them were 3 years in a row on Thanksgiving day. First year i didn't go and already miss it

South of Erin and east of 13. Lots of deer running around for sure.
