Got to meet and visit with these guys today at the convention. Great guys with exceptional products. I was very impressed with their complete line of pots, diaphrams, and their Owl hooter is awesome too...In my opionion they have one of the very best ceramic calls and their aluminum is in the same league as Dawkins at half the price. Yall need to check these guys out, if you haven't.

Concur, Lyle and his crew are good people. I have talked to Lyle on the phone several times over the last 4-5 years and he acts like we have known each other our whole life, when in fact, we have never met. Every turkey hunter that I have turned on to his mouth calls still orders from him. That speaks volumes in my opinion.

How much does the hooter cost?

Great guy to do business with and his calls, whether it be mouth calls, pot calls, or the owl hooter, are awesome tools to have in your vest. I've carried Lyles calls in the woods with me the past 3 seasons and have been very satisfied with the results.

yeah good folks, I'm not much of a batwing cut guy but he sent me one to try and man it was fantastic.

Nothing associated with houndstooth is touching my body or ever allowed in my possession. Wretched stuff made famous by some has been football coach at a rancid university in western Alabama :moon:

I say the same thing setterman. They could be the best calls in the world, call up every gobbler that hears it.
Nothing against the owner itself, but I cannot buy or carry anything named or colored houndstooth. I wonder how many feel the same way?

Kinda like an Alabama fan buying a War Eagle boat, except I don't think they have anything to do with each other.

I respect your fanship especially this day in time with so many bandwaggoners. That aside, they are great calls if you ever could allow yourself to purchase one. I bet you could even ask Lyle not to burn their logo in one and he would be happy to oblige!

I've seriously heard good things, and am just talking trash. No true bammer would ever draw an overlay a/u though, which I respect in a way.

After reading this thread I decided to order a walnut aluminum. Received it today and man is it sweet. I've owned a Dawkins aluminum, this call gets my vote. Took it out of the bubble wrap and have played it several times and haven't had any problems with grip or had to use any chalk. Thanks for the heads up on a fine call roost!

You're welcome, bud.... Now try their ceramic, you will be pleasantly surprised.

So update in the ceramic I ordered a while back. I've been playing with it more and more and did some outside practicing today. Man I am liking this call even more now. It's super crisp and easy to run. Yelps are easy to roll over and it's just an all around sweet call. I even recommend it more now then before.
