The way my phone has been ringing, the deer must be on the move today. I think everybody has killed one in cluding an 83-year old woman friend of mine. She killed a seven point just after sunup.

Met up with tndeer member Expressjet and hunted my place. Seen 18 doe and he had a couple small bucks chasing a hot doe around. He had to leave around 11 but let the air out of a big ol nanner head ! I think they are just now starting to move around.

Saw 12 this morning and only sat till 7:30, had to get my boy to his birthday party. Ole big boy stepped out for just a second and went back in the woods after checking a doe. I didn't crack a shot and was waiting for one to get close enough for my son to shoot.

Definately not the case in northeastern Wisconsin. Seen 1 deer in 4 days, alot of bear scat and a few possible wolf tracks, but very few deer.

I did see a wild pheaseant on the side of the road yesterday running, been a long time since I seen any of those not on or near a game farm.

The only thing thats hot where I am is the exhaust on these morons trucks and dirt bikes that have been muddin around in circles for the last hour. Im already in the tree and gotta leave in an hour or so anyway so I guess ill grin and bear it.

It would have been hard to see anything this am with all of the fog. And the visit from the dog that about got it's brains splattered because it started barking and growling at me and acting real mean-like. One more step and I would shot a dog instead of a deer.
