XTP mag is rated for a higher impact velocity.

I liked both only because they were inexpensive to shoot. There are too many better options for me to shoot these ever again.
 
I like the XTP better. Better accuracy and cheap. Excellent performance on deer from the 300 grain bullets with green sabots. Big exits holes and lots and lots of blood to follow. I haven't lost an animal while using these bullets. That honor goes to Power Belt.

used the xtp's for years. killed a bunch of deer with them, accurate. good for less than 100 yards, at 1800.

been using the t/c shockwave bonded(the blue tip) for the last 2 years. real good bullet, especially on shoulder shots. made by hornady, chemically bonded. i think my test result thread is still on here, do a search.

although i do have an itch to try out the pr bullets and the harvester scorpion pt gold 260 gr this year.
 
Hornady SST has proven to be very accurate and deadly with awsome exit holes for my Remington Genesis

Hornady FPB kept me from throwing my H&R Huntsman in the trash can...could not find a saboted bullet that it could hold a pattern in less than a 2ft circle. Then bought the FPB and got clover leaf results...DA's post cleans up their performance on deer. :grin: love that post every time it comes back arround!
 
Deer Assassin's post on the FPB is down right brutal. Maybe we should use FPBs against the Taliban and Al Qaeda!
