hornady one shot case lube

Anyone tried the hornady one shot case lube? If so how are you liking it? Best I can tell shake well and spray the cases let set about 10 minutes then resize.

It works well. My only gripe is it doesn't last very long.

Lyman case lube spray is much better IMO. It lasts longer and is more slick.

How come this stuff you can get on the shoulder of the case and it doesn't dent?

I like the Hornady better than the Lyman. The Lyman stuff will give you dents if you have too much of it. I haven't had a dented shoulder with the Hornady.

I use the Hornady, have for awhile.
I love it, it seems to not gum up the die as much, and comes off clean in the tumbler.

I use it, only problems I have are:

On .223 and similar cases you will get stuck cases if you dont get good coverage using full length sizing dies. .223 and .308 seems to be the worse. I now make it a point to give the cases a good shot making SURE the whole length and the case mouth gets a decent dose of lube.

It seems to sometimes seems to combine with tumbling media/dust to leave a residue that doesnt tumble off loaded rounds, so you have to wipe them down with a metal polish.

Otherwise it works as well as anything else out there, and its priced reasonably.

It dents because you spray 10x too much. Just barely spray it on. The One Shot you have to really spray it down compared to the Lyman spray.

The only spray lube I have used is the rcbs and it has worked well for me. I see a lot of mixed reviews on the one shot, I would try it but rcbs is easily attainable so I use it

Is it best to put cases in loading tray or bag to spray

Imperial Sizing Wax. A little goes a loooooooooong way. As you apply it you can inspect the casings better by feel

Wow, DonW has it near perfect. The oneShot requires a pretty complete coverage or you positively will get stuck cases, 308 in particular. So, you spray good, wait maybe 5 mins, start FL Sizing ansd do not stop until all the sprayed cases have been through the die. If you stop for very long, safe thing is re-spray the cases still in line. Or you will get a stuck case.

Aside from that, no other problems.

i use RCBS case lube 2 on a old rag and never had a stuck case ever since i started using That lube about a month ago.

I have heard good things about the imperial also
