Just curious as to how many of you have shot these bullets? My brother just put in an order for these in 165 grain .308 caliber going to load some for my .300 wsm. Any thoughts on performance is welcomed thanks.
 
I bought some 150 grains for my 7mm Rem Mag and it couldn't hold a consistent group to my standards. My model 700 loves core lokt bullets and they do great on deer. Cheap, groups great, and kills them stone dead. You should try them.
 
Yep core lokts work good on deer I have shot them the last two seasons because that's what was available at the time however I can't get them to group the way I would like as well. They group enough to kill a deer but want to get under a one inch group. Kinda worried that these will not either but for twenty dollars for one hundred thought I would try and see.
 
I use the hornady interlocks in my Browning 270 (150 gr) and 300 (180 gr) win mag and have developed loads that shoot sub MOA. They also perform excellent on game as you say. If you have some interest in my formula, send me a PM.
 
I use them in my 30-06 and have had great results. They used to be known as "The Poor Man's Premium Bullet" as they were an inexpensive solution to bullet explosion and jacket/core separation. I don't know how they will hold up to magnum velocities at close range, though, As far as accuracy goes, your rifle may or may not like them... Every rifle is different

do you reload? I can get holes touching groups.
 
I have been using the 139 gr in my 7mm-08 this year. good groups and complete pass through on 4 deer at distances from 60 yards to 125 yards so far. I like them so far....

I am somewhat concerned as the high velocity as well think I will do a bullet test into a line of milk jugs and try to catch the bullet at 50 yards
 
140 grain in my 260 REM and 80 gr in my 243. Excellent results, both accuracy and terminal performance on deer and coyotes. Personally I like the SST even better.
 
I have used them for years with good success. This year three deer were killed with this bullet in 7mm-08 at distances of 125 yds, 50 yards and 150 yards. All pass thru with much damage to rib cage. All were high lung shots. I did observe that the deer hit with high lung shots ran farther than I am accustomed to observing. (Daughter requested I save the hearts for her.)
I used the 130 gr in 270 Win on coyote at 175 yds and opposite side had 3" exit hole. On a young deer at 30 yards the 130 gr interlock bullet took out 3 ribs on broad side hit. There was considerable damage to opposite side. Much more energy at this close range on smaller deer than is required..
For 10 years I have use 100 gr Hornady interlock in 243 Win and never lost a deer or needed more than 1 shot. Most shots have been at 100 to 175 yards. About a third dropped where they stood. None ran more than 50 yards. It should be noted with the 243 I ALWAYS use a rest for steady shot placement.This may account for more deer dropped in tracks with the 243 than any other caliber I shoot. Shot placement is important no matter what the bullet of choice.
 
I have been using Hornady Custom 165gr BTSP Interlock in my .300 Win Mag for years with great results from 75 to 380 yds. I killed a nice 10 pt this season at 307 yds, he took two steps and bit the dust. Imo it is a very good bullet.
