Hornady comparator.

Is the hornady comparator a good buy and worth it. I've contemplated buying one and just lookin for feedback

I bought the Forester kit and like it a lot. Less pieces to keep up with and it has its own schnazzy little case to hold it in.

The Forster kit is nice. But way out of my price range unless I looked at the wrong thing. Brownells had it for $115

I have the Hornady comparator w/ six bullet inserts. I use it every time I reload rifle ammo and check every round. You have got to use some type if you want to have consistent bullet jump to lands.

The Forster kit is higher but you can do a little more with it. It will do ojive measurements as well as case shoulders.

I'd like to be able to measure both ogive and shoulders but t the moment the Forster kit is way outta my price range lol. Where's the best place to order one

Thanks. My birthday is coming up and midway has the hornady with 6 inserts for nearly the same money. I'm thinking of just gettin the comparator body and 2 inserts. I only load 308 and 243.
