its always been a good weekend for me...but the temperature looks a little high.. in the low to mid 70s.. what do you guys think?? in your experiance is that going to slow down the daytime movment??
 
Too hot for me. I will catch up on my honey due list Saturday and take a day or two off during the week.
I do have a golf tournament on Sunday and the weather looks great for that. :cool:

I will definitely go Saturday AM. That will be the coolest point all weekend. Will not stay too long if it gets hot. IDK if I will go in the afternoons. Too hot. If I do go in the pm I will go to one of my stands that I do not have to walk into the property to access and will slip back out.
 
I'll go sit in the tree for an hour or so Saturday morning.
When my 6 and 8 year olds wake up, I'll have my dad bring them out there and we'll sit in the tripod together for an hour or so. I don't have very high expectations, but hopefully we can see something. They're excited to go and I'm excited to take them.
 
Certainly not crazy about the temps. But this trip is planned and goes off around this time each fall. So we are headed back to Hardeman this weekend. Bow in hand Friday evening. Rifle for the weekend. I will be surprised if we see any mature bucks.
 
This time of year I can't stay out of the woods!!!! I might not be able to do an all day sit but I HAVE to be out there
 
Hopeful, yes. Optimistic, no.

It's cliche but true. You never know in November. I've killed a couple good ones during November warm fronts. They won't move as much, but if the right doe wanders through that can change in a hurry. I've seen younger bucks cruising around behind my house the last 2-3 days and got pics of a decent buck chasing a doe through the backwater last week.

I'll pack my thermacell, put on a t-shirt, and go see what happens.
 
Be in a stand whenever you can this time of year regardless. Wife killed our primary target buck at 3:45 in the afternoon during the first week of muzzleloader 2 years ago. It was really warm that afternoon, in the high 60's. He was an older deer, the ladies got him in trouble.
 
Yep as my 2020 yr had gone I've planned out 2 weeks of vacation using different Thursday and Friday's to get most of November off and temps climb. I'll be there Saturday morning hopefully and shooting first doe or decent buck I see. I need the meat been out of deer since August. And had a bad bow season only seeing 1 deer. So I'm hoping to put at least doe in the freezer.
 
Think I'm gonna sit all day... it'll be cool in the morning and I've had quite a bit of activity on camera lately... definitely not gonna get big boy on the couch watching football
 
Temps will be warmer than I hoped for but 10X better than sitting in a tree with a stick and string fighting yellow jackets and skeeters waiting to stick one so can track it in temps this side of he double hockey sticks with 5000% humidity. Although the temps are going to be warmer than hoped for if I do my job my muzzy will do its job quickly. Besides cant kill em from the couch. So season is open + on vacation = its hunting time. To quote Al Bundy "lets rock"
