This deals with the classification of hooks as they pertain to trout fishing. There are two places in the current regulations guide that are confusing and seem to contradict one another. Some streams are only legal with "single hook" lures. Question is...does a treble hook count as a single hook, such as found on inline spinners (Mepps, Roostertails, etc) or is that considered a multi hook?
On one page of the guide (the one with the Umbrella rig) it says "Single, double, or treble hooks each count as ONE hook" then on another page of the guide it says "Single hook- a hook with only one point".
It seems like this was discussed once before but I couldn't find the thread. It seemed like it got quite heated. I remember it being said that the book was in error and that a single treble hook counted as one hook.
