They are pretty scarce in east Tennessee to be fair. I'm on a list for a place that has hogs, but they are few and far between. I've never actually seen them except on my camera and only once.

Wasn't referring to you. I've had 5 people pm me and they where all in Central and West Tn. Pretty friggin pathetic that there are no hog hunters here in East Tn. If I had posted this back home in Fl or in South Ga, I would have gotten 50 replys.

Oh I see what your saying now. There's plenty of hog hunters around, they just aren't very friendly or trusting. Plus your posting about hunting in a couple countys that don't allow dogs on a public forum. For what your doing you better carry a couple extra pairs of underwear for those flat ground boys in Central/West Tennessee :rotf:

I have a McMinn farm I hunt. One night some idiot shows up with his dogs. He had permission to be there. Asked if we could tag along and he said not with guns. Kinda dumb founded by it, I started asking questions. Tells us he just got his license back, lost because of hogs. Still puzzeled I question on. Come to find out he got in trouble for transporting wild hogs. :smash:

TraumaSlave, I don't think you understand his no guns policy. He's protecting his dogs and upholding a cur dog hunting tradition. Now if you really met someone that had their license taking for transporting hogs then you might as well have seen Bigfoot, I don't think but 1 person has ever been caught doing that in the whole state. Even though everybody claims to know that we hog hunter do it all the time :roll: I wasn't trying to put Cowman 71 down although now that I read it again it does look that way.

The only "claim" I'm making is what this redneck told me. Whether you as part of a heritage group of hunters or anyone else in that group, other than the guy I was with, have transported makes no difference to me.

I didn't say that you didn't meet the only one. I said finding someone who's been caught doing that was very rare.
