Got a another new lease and just got my first batch of cam pics from the property. Looks like we are covered with hogs! We have some great deer there too but I think we have many I hogs. I know they will compete with the deer for food. Any advice on curbing the hogs presences besides killing them all? I'm really concerned.

Thanks

Besides killing them all? Eliminate all food sources/ water/ thickets for bedding.

Call me and let me help you kill them and have a big pig roast to kick off football season.

In all seriousness good luck. In my limited experience a combination of trapping and hunting them will keep the population down.

Get a hog tag from the state, and shoot everyone you see, and trap hard. It may be impossible to get them all but if you stay after them, you can substantially reduce numbers. Dont bother with food plots and especially dont put corn out unless its in a trap, otherwie you will have trouble keeping them away.
