I have a Stiller Tac 30 with a. Brux 8 twist 6.5x47 barrel in an AICS chassis that shoots lights out but it's too heavy to pack 10 ft , so when I ran across an old Rem Varmint Special stock it was a no brainer.
I may deer hunt a little just to get it out of the house.

Expensive to feed, but should be a great deer round. I see it is a lefty stock, but looks like a RH rifle, that would fit me perfectly.

Where are you seeing the lefty stock? Just curious. Looks RH and RH to these old eyes.

You're right, I, for some reason, seen the cheek piece and "seen' lefty. Getting old sucks.

Not at all, I had to look twice after your post and even shadow held it to see it was indeed a righty.

Not expensive at all to shoot , takes 130 Berger VLDH bullets and 38.5 grs Varget.

130 gr 6.5 bullets at 2900 fps will kill anything in the state of Tn just as dead as a 300 Win Mag.
