After a lot of thought and contemplation, Stickers has been added to my hit list and he is my #1 target. My rule going in was that if he excited me, that I would shoot him. Well, a few days ago I saw him with my own eyes for about 45 minutes and he definitely excited me! The more I look at him, the more I think he is a 4 year old. I could be wrong and he could be a 3 year old and I realize that regardless of age, he may grow a few more inches next year, but I would be tickled to death to kill a deer like him anywhere in the country, especially in TN on my own farm. #2 for me is "Splits", a main frame 8 point with split brow tines. I'm pretty sure he is at least 4 years old and I think he will gross in the 140's. #3 is a deer we call "Spoonbeam". He won't score much over P&Y, but he is at least 4 years old as well. His left main beam for the past couple of years flattened out into the shape of a spoon. This year it flattened and then split. The rest of the list are deer that I would likely pass, but my kids will have a green light to kill. The only exception is #7, a deer we call Methuselah. We have had pictures of him for several years and believe he is at least 7.5 years old. If he strolls by late the in the season, he is a deer I would like to shoot.
