Caught these guys hanging just a few yards off of I-26. They are still hanging in the same spot for weeks now. Cars whizzing by at 70 mph and they are in their little sanctuary. Content to stay right there.
 
That 2nd pic is a nice deer for around here. What mile markers are they around? I'm joking. They must feel secure letting u stop and take pics tho

I sometimes wonder if they like watching traffic go by. When I hunted off the Natchez Trace Pwky in Ms I commonly would see big bucks bedded on the sides of the ridges along the Pwky. Some of them were dandies. No hunting allowed.
 
one of my best stands on mt roosevelt was 40 yds off airport road. the local state trooper would cruise by to see if I was there and wave.
