Nice hunt in beautiful country. I've seen lots of those pine squirrels in WY and they are smaller and more fidgety than greys. Breathing at 11000 feet while doing outdoor activities can be difficult. Good work on the hunt and photos.
 
I'm glad you wrote this up. I'd seen your posts on Insta, but was curious about whether you were camping or just day hunting, etc... I love my O/U for this type of hunting. I did buy a Yildiz just for how light it was and I wanted a 20 gauge, because I am recoil sensitive.

And, it was cheap enough I didn't think twice about drilling a hole in the stock and installing a sling.
 
Those little joker squirrels are fast. We shot a couple and cooked them over a fire one time. They tasted about what i would think Pine Sol tastes like. That squirrel got the last laugh as my stomach stayed tore up for days after eating it.
