What's anybody seeing in Hickman? I hunt the Coble area, and was out of town for the weekend opener. I hunted both Monday and Tuesday evening and only heard one shot each night and only saw one button each night. I heard lots of shooting first week of ML, and that was when I saw the most activity. I'm hearing a lot of you guys say that the best rut activity isn't till Thanksgiving or later...none of the deer I've seen has been chasing.

I hunt in Lewis Co. and haven't seen a deer since last Tuesday. I have only heard a couple shots since rifle opened but I didn't get to hunt Saturday or Sunday either.

My buds farm that I have access to is in Hickman. I haven't hunted it this year but he and two others have hunted it somewhat hard since M.z season and haven't seen a thing.

I hunt coble and Sunday we seen 12 bucks and 10 does before I shot at 8:45 and killed a big 8 have been seeing a lot of deer

Does still grouped up with little ones
Yearling and 2 year old bucks pestering
I have not seen a mature buck yet, but I have 2 buddies that have both tagged out on mature bucks but it was first part of ML season and all the bucks were killed coming into food plots.

Slow same as duck rover said. I managed to kill a good one ml season. More rut activity the first week of ml season then I've seen combined.
