Saw the segment on the Big Blue that went to the Aquarium, how big a Flathead would they take? Me and my brother catch 3-4 50plus lbers every yr., yet to break the 60lb mark though.

I really don't know... it's probably based more on "need" than anything else.

If all their current flatheads up and died all at once, they'd probably take a 20-pounder.

But if the tank (Nickajack Tank) has all the flatheads it can really handle... they probably wouldn't consider anything but a real behemouth in the 80-pound-plus class.

In the case of the Big Blue, the biologist had spread the word among a few of the local hardcore cat guys that they needed a big blue to replace one that died.

Call the fellow in the video, Rob Mottice, and just ask him.
