Hey Big. You ever have any experience loading Accurate 2230 in .223? I just got a heck of a deal on 5 lbs! ;) Im wanting to feed some of it through my bushmaster behind some 55gr FMJ Hornadys. :grin: Clean that PM box out bro!! :grin:LOL

never tried it,,,had soo much luck with 322 and varget I aint tried anything else..
I am sure it will work fine though,,it is what itwas designed for,

You will be EXTREMELY pleased with results from your loaded 55gr Hornady's when stoked with 23.5(or-so)grains of AA2230. Light the charge with a regular Small-rifle primer and be amazed at the groups. The only powder that I have used that prints better than AA2230 with 65 grain or less pills is Vihta N135.

I may have to try it then,
I shot a 30 round magazine at a 1 inch dot today in about 10 minutes,with the Rem R15,,55 Gr Sierra flat base spitzer bullet and 23 grs H322,,27 of those Sierra bullets hit the dot,,the other 3 were extremely close..
it seems this rifle will shoot about anything,

soo many of these powders are so similar its insane..i bet some are the same powder
