I was going to ask on one of the duck hunting facebook pages but that is worthless and I have actually quit following all of them.

My son has "heard" that the water is out down there.
Meaning you can't drive under the first track.
I was wondering if it is "out" enough to get over the back levee.

You have anyone in the "know" on this?
He would just drive down there but he is a LONG way from there right now.

I just talked to a friend that has a blind at Gooch this year and is hunting today. He said the water has been up last week a few days but the water level is back to normal now.

Cool, thanks.
I didn't think we had had enough rain to really get it out.

Just saw this and hope DM answered your question. There was quite a quick rise on the Obion and Forked Deere Middle fork last week but not long enough to put out a lot of water on the Obion.
Check the lower Mississippi river forecasts for current and forecasted river stages in West Tenn. Compare visual with forecasts and after a while you will get a feel for when an area is huntable from your easy chair.
