I see you have been catching Bluegill already. Have you ever fished for Bluegill with your flyrod? When it warms up, you might try sponge floating spiders for the little critters. ;)

I haven't been fly fishing in a while but I thought of it last time I was bream fishing. When they are biting like that I bet I could kill em with the fly rod. The first fish I caught with a fly rod (fishing with gil1) were bluegills. Will post pics when I get to catching em with the fly rod. And hope you can make the vous next year!

When they are really biting, I have caught more fish on flies than my wife did while using live crickets. That flyrod of yours is a little heavy for bluegills but it has caught a bunch. Sometimes a largemouth will surprise you by hitting a small fly, but that rod will certainly handle one.

I hated missing the vous, but hopefully will be their next year. I need you to teach me how to deer hunt. :)

Ha! I bet you could teach me a load of stuff about deer hunting. You could tell me how to hunt em in low deer density areas... I got it easy over here.

Ill let you know when I get to fly fishing. Need to practice tying some flies first.
