I decided to try the hevi-shot magnums this year but just read where you arent supposed to shoot them through a kick's choke...so i need some input on what chokes you folks have the best results with using the hevi shot , i have a remington 870 supermag...right now im leaning towards a jellyhead.

You are safe to shoot HEVI-Shot through a Kick's choke if you so desire. I shoot the 3.5" MagBlends through an Indian Creek .665 in my 870SP and absolutely love this combination.

I use a hevi shot choke .665 out of my 870 and love it. would shoot to 50 yds no second thoughts.

They guy that makes the Kick's chokes has/had an agreement with Winchester.... that is why he doesn't advertise using it with Hevi loads.

I know of several people that use the Kicks tube and Hevi shells.

Shoot the kicks i have shot several through every kicks i own. Email charlie Boswell (the owner) he will tell you that hevi handloads are safe, tss handloads are safe, federal heavyweight is safe, rays nitros are safe, but not EM hevi-shot.

He has an agreement with Winchester but he has a problem with EM as well

i have a Hevi choke in my SuperMag. magblends pattern great

hunting buddy uses a JellyHead and his is about the same

I just shot my new hevi-shot choke,.656 it throwed those hevi 13
loads downrange wright nice. The jellyhead .655 did not get close.
I am ready to break some necks...gun is Super Nova

Ive shot two boxes of magnum blends through my new 870 , my shoulder is hamburger meat . I shot a kicks , a jellyhead , and an indian creek , all at 35 yards and the winner was hands down indian creek. I wish I had taken pics ,all 3 performed extremely well , but the pattern from the IC was twice as dense as the others. Now I just hope bass pro will let me trade the jellyhead for the IC lol.

Dude...I was messing around trying out new mouth calls last night before I went to bed. After I finally feel asleep, I could seriously hear gobbles in my freankin head that sounded so vivid

Roflmao...i bought 10 woodhaven copperheads last year on sale at academy , I have already put 2 in my vest , and every other call I own has already been sanded and chalked and "tested" so many times its pitiful , lol
My fiance says if I dont shut up , im gonna get stabbed with a striker!!! i say shes just mad cuz she cant use a call very well , yet.
I also find myself looking at the classifieds every chance I get , a man can never have too many
