when the river goes down I plan to do a little wading for smallies.

I wanted to wade today but it's running a little too strong. We hit about 5 holes with the last right at dark. We caught 5 smallmouth and a drum in the last hole. I guess the smallmouth are not as far upriver as they were this time last year. Nothing like a river smallmouth for the fight. 2 on a jig, 1 on a senko, and 2 on a grub. The drum on a grub also.

Good looking smallmouth. I like wading the creeks where you find small pockets that might have a 2 or 3 lber lurking. Zoom lizard and super fluke are usually my go to baits. If not artificial then I use live stonerollers. If you want that pic for your website then feel free. Do you put up ugly carp pics too? Cause you might have one sometime soon.
