I believe couches will burn in the streets again if it does indeed happen.
If I were Heupel I'd stay put because he has a friendly AD which goes a long way in getting what you need to be successful.
 
I agree I think his relationship with Danny White will go a long way. Also, it's UT and we haven't done a coaching search in damn near a year so sure folks are ready for another one

The message is if he leaves he owes UT $8M. Oklahoma could pay it if they wanted him bad enough, but it's way out of line with most contracts. UT wasn't going to get burned again with another Lane Kiffen situation. Your article actually makes it look more likely he isn't going anywhere.

I've always said Kentucky basketball fans are the Alabama football fans of basketball. There isn't a nickel's worth of difference in them. Their entire identity is attached to a sports team.
